Refunds, Exchanges and Repairs

The policy for refunds and exchanges is valid for 30 days. If 30 days have passed since your purchase, we can’t offer you a refund or exchange.

Refunds 

Due to items being made to order, only a 65% refund/credit can be granted for the return of an item for whatever reason. The refund percentage is based on the item, not including shipping. It is important to use the sizing guide to guarantee ordering the correct size of item. For an eligible refund, the item must be unused, unwashed and in its original condition. 

Shipping returns and item processing

 To return your item, mail your item to: 18 Jelas Road, Red Beach, Auckand 0932, NZ.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. These shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

The returned item must be accompanied by proof of purchase for the return to be valid. The order form that was shipped with your item, or the email confirmation of purchase constitutes proof of purchase. 

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item and the the approval or rejection of your refund.

Upon approval, your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.

Late or missing refunds

If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.

Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.

Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

Exchanges

In the case of an item being defective or faulty from manufacturing, it can be returned and the defect replaced without any net cost to you.. For an eligible exchange, the item must be unused, unwashed and in the same condition that you received it. 

Shipping returns

To exchange a defective item, mail it to: 18 Jelas Road, Red Beach, Auckland 0932, NZ.

In the case of an exchange due to defect, return shipping costs will be refunded to you.

The returned item must be accompanied by proof of purchase for the return to be valid.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you may vary.

Repairs

If minor damage occurs to your item with use, it is possible to return the item to be repaired. A small fee may be required for repairs, depending on the level of damage. This fee will be calculated based on the size of the repair. It is important to detail the repair/s required for an item, either in an email to localsonlynewzealand@gmail.com, or clearly mailed with the item itself.
